We provide services for: Young people with challenging behaviours who want to move on in life and plan their future. Young people who have been abused who may find it difficult to navigate through life, who need guidance and support. Young people with mild learning disabilities who need help to plan their future, and support to work towards it. Young people with mild mental health problems who need help to plan their future and support to work towards it. About Us Real Lives is a residential service that provides accommodation for young people aged 16 – 24. This home specialises in helping young people develop independent living skills to enable them to move out of care and into the community. The service’s ethos includes providing a positive, safe and caring environment for young people. We endeavour to provide a range of experiences, activities and interests to encourage all our young people to develop basic life skills, to move in the near future, into the local community contributing positively to it. All our service users will be supported to engage in education and/ or employment related to their wishes and career aspirations. The homes are staffed 24 hours a day. Each young person is encouraged to participate in decision-making and is able to access the Children and Young People’s Advocacy Service whenever they require further support and assistance.
